Account Executive
Location: San Jose, California
Reports to: Vice President of Sales
We are seeking extraordinary sales individuals who want to target well-run companies in fast-growing markets selling unique and proprietary technology that generates measurable returns for B2B sales and marketing organizations.
This is a great opportunity to join an exciting early-stage company in a rapidly growing market space. To be successful in this role, you must be hands-on, persistent, and have the ability to overcome objections. You need to be a quick learner who can become an expert on our Software as a Service (SaaS) Demand Generation platform as well as our competitors’. In this role you will need to communicate with accomplished executives in high-tech businesses, and demonstrate why we are the right fit for their company. We are looking for a sales person who can manage a broad territory and be able to carry the entire sales process from start to finish.
- Demonstrate proven success in developing new business and managing complex sales cycle, from generating leads to closing deals
- Call on senior-level executive contacts (CEO, CFO, VP Sales, CMO) and manage a highly consultative, complex sales cycle
- Work closely with prospective clients to understand their business objectives and create the most appropriate solution to meet their needs
- Understand the business challenges that our customers face and explain how our solution will solve their specific challenges
- Understand the basics of our solution technically and at least be able to communicate some of the technical aspects at a high level
- Possess 10+ years of proven sales experience in software or services
- Maintain contact with and nurture prospects who are not ready to buy
- Work through the contract negotiation process in terms of both cost and contract specifics
- Close business without excessive assistance from management
- Develop deep relationships with clients, maintaining the client asset for the long term
- Demonstrate proven track record of penetrating and expanding large corporate accounts
- Possess strong executive-level/decision-maker contacts in Enterprise and Mid-Market companies
- Have a minimum of a BA/BS degree
The ideal candidate is someone who has experience selling SaaS solutions to B2B sales and marketing executives, but other sales experience will be considered. Established relationships with marketing people at high-tech companies are considered a major plus.

Support Services Specialist – Growth Opportunity
Location: San Jose, California
Reports to: Manager, Customer Success
We are seeking a sharp, tech savvy, service oriented "Support Services Specialist" to work onsite in our Silicon Valley site.
The qualified candidate will have demonstrated past excellence in customer service, is comfortable in a teaching and training role, and will have experience with, or be capable to grasp very quickly, lead generation, email concepts, tracking, light html, search engine marketing and SEO, and can create, coordinate, and execute ongoing lead generation and online programs. This is a great opportunity for a recent College Graduate, or person with some work experience in a fast-paced environment. You work as part of a team, reporting to the Manager, Customer Success. eTrigue is a private, profitable company, and has been serving customers worldwide including start-ups ramping first revenue to Fortune 500 companies.
Support Services responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service to future and existing clients and partners
- Coordinate the setup and deployment of new client accounts
- Conduct initial and ongoing training and support to clients and partners
- Provide first level troubleshooting and support services for clients
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the eTrigue Platform and standard practices
- Assist with list development and list management
- Assume an active role in developing and enhancing product features
- Clearly and effectively communicate status of issues with clients and management, in writing and verbally
- Contribute to a positive and cohesive team
Requirements:
- Technically inclined, digitally savvy
- Outstanding people/customer service/phone skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A logic-minded approach to problem solving
- Familiarity with WebEx or other online collaboration
- Thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Excellent attention to detail; highly organized
- Strong MS Excel, Word, PPT a must; light html a bonus
Qualifications:
- B.A. or B.S. degree in marketing, business, computer science, web development, or related area
- 1+ years in customer service or related role
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work under pressure
- Work independently and as part of several teams
- Develop solutions, take direction from clients and internal staff
- Ability to focus and maintain level head in busy environment
- Ambitious, energetic, optimistic and sense of humor
This is a full-time position and comes with salary, benefits, healthcare, 401K, Profit Sharing Plan and PTO. Offsite, temporary and service organizations are not being considered for this position.
